Bagels in Barcelona

Bagels from our own bakery, made fresh every day at Av. Diagonal, 469. Six varieties plus a gluten-free option, from 8:00 am until closing.

Our bagel bakery on the Diagonal

The bakery sits inside the restaurant, in full view of the dining room. Every morning we make the day’s bagels by hand: plain, sesame, onion, tomato and olive, poppy seed and bran, plus a gluten-free version.

We serve them with EC cream cheese, smoked salmon or egg, and they are on the café menu all day long. If you have a gluten intolerance, let us know when you book or tell our staff.

Bagels for breakfast, brunch and lunch

The bagel is at the heart of our brunch in Barcelona and of breakfast at the café, alongside pancakes, brioche French toast, granola with yoghurt and açaí bowls.

At lunch and dinner it sits alongside the restaurant dishes, with salmon as the house speciality: naturally smoked, with dill and truffle, as tartare or as tataki. The kitchen stays open all day, so you can order a bagel at any time.

Bagels to take away and for delivery

All our bagels are available to take away from 8:00 am, and for delivery through our online ordering service.

If you’d rather stay, the terrace on the corner of Diagonal and Villarroel is open every day of the year. Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 1:00 am; Friday and Saturday, 8:00 am to 2:00 am. Hospital Clínic (L5) and Diagonal (L3 and L5) metro stations.
